Bronx May Land Fuel Alternative

New York City may soon have its first alternative-fuel station in the Bronx, the Wall Street Journal reported, to include pumps for natural gas, ethanol and biodiesel. The city has proposed building 128,000-square-foot station that also would include a restaurant and a convenience store. Mt. Vernon, N.Y.,-based Atlantis Management Group expects to sign a 40-year lease with the city for the land, and plans to invest about $11 million to build and operate a station.

(The success of the biodiesel fuel industry relies heavily on biodiesel testing <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s32Ke2VzrqU>, not only at the production level but at the consumer level, where degraded fuel may cause engine failures.  Of major concern to diesel and biodiesel users is the very real possibility that water has contaminated their fuel.
