Drive a diesel? Blended fuel for you, too

Ready or not, biodiesel may be coming to a fuel station near you.

At the Baker Truck Corral, owner Kurt Miller said he hasn’t received any notification from the state or from his suppliers that a biodiesel mandate approved by the 2007 Oregon Legislature could take effect as early as the first quarter of 2009.

Miller said in states that have imposed biodiesel requirements, drivers have reported diesel gelling more than usual, and debris clogging filters and fuel systems
