GRAND RAPIDS -- The push to get more $1 coins in the hands of consumers will take to the streets this month, when one of the U.S. Mint's "Real Change Exchange Trucks" makes stops around West Michigan.
The biodiesel vehicle, designed to resemble an armored truck, will make stops in the region Friday through Nov. 24, offering to exchange dollar bills for the $1 coins.
(The success of the biodiesel fuel industry relies heavily on biodiesel testing, not only at the production level but at the consumer level, where degraded fuel may cause engine failures. Fleet Biodiesel's family of inexpensive biodiesel test kits is just a click away on the internet)
