B.C. Ferries has announced that its fleet is now using five per cent — or “B5” — biodiesel to fuel its vessels.
That makes it one of the largest consumers of biodiesel in B.C., the company says.
The fuel blend is being used in all service areas where the product is available, and in 31 out of 35 vessels, it says.
