THREE months after publicly disclosing a multimillion-dollar deal to open the potential for Barbados to gain major earnings from biodiesel, Amelot Barbados, the firm at the centre of the transaction, is now fully operational.
This was disclosed yesterday in a statement obtained by the Barbados Advocate from Amelot Holdings, the US-based firm which is a diversified holding company that has identified Biodiesel as a $20 billion emerging market.
