Neste Oil sees vegoil demand up to 2.5 mln T by 2011

SINGAPORE/KUALA LUMPUR, March 12 (Reuters) - Finnish refiner Neste Oil has forecast vegetable oil demand for its operations at between 2.4 million and 2.5 million by 2011 once two biodiesel plants come on line in Singapore and Rotterdam.
A senior company official told Reuters Neste would firm up deals with vegetable oil suppliers in the next few months for both plants, which will have an annual production capacity of 800,000 tonnes each. Palm oil will be a major feedstock.
