Smallholders all for B5 plan

KUALA LUMPUR: The proposal that all diesel-powered public transport vehicles should use a five per cent blend of biodiesel (B5) has received the thumbs up from oil palm smallholders.

National Association of Smallholders president Datuk Aliasak Ambia lauded the suggestion made by Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui at the International Rubber Research & Development Board's Natural Rubber Conference 2008 yesterday.
