Veolia steps into biofuels using recycled vegoils

PARIS, Oct 15 (Reuters) - French water and waste management group Veolia in early 2009 will launch the first biodiesel plant in France using oil recycled from the restaurant trade, the company said on Wednesday.
The project comes at the time when other biofuels made from raw grains and oilseeds are accused of boosting food prices and their ability to cut greenhouse gases is being questioned.
